Product Review: La Mer The Regenerating Serum
As a loyal fan of La Mer, I was very excited to learn about the latest skincare product, The Regenerating Serum, launched in the US last month.
The Regenerating Serum is an anti-aging powerhouse that helps reduce the appearance of pores, lines and wrinkles caused by internal and external stressors, and further boost the production of collagen and elastin to promote a more youthful look.
The serum combines the legendary formula, The Miracle Broth™, in Crème de la Mer, with the new The Regenerating Ferment™, derived from plant stem cells of a marine plant Eryngium Maritimum that features stress-resistant properties.
The texture is lightweight and thin lotion-like. It is in creamy off-white pale green, and features La Mer's signature oceany scent that smells crisp and refreshing. The serum is easy to spread. It goes on light and smooth, and soaks into skin fast.
My experiences with The Regenerating Serum have been enjoyable. I have been using it regularly every night for one month. The serum gives sufficient moisture, and leaves my skin soft and supple. I wake up looking well-rested and clear in the morning.
In 2 weeks, the fine lines on my forehead were slightly less visible, and those pores on my cheeks shrunk a little. I do notice that the skin has appeared smoother, firmer and slightly plumper in one month.
Summary
Ever since I began my journey with my first Crème de la Mer moisturizing cream 9 years ago, La Mer's skincare and base makeup products have never let me down, and always live up to what they claim. The Regenerating Serum is no exception. It gives me great results in diminishing my pores, fine lines, and firming the complexion.
The price of The Regenerating Serum ( USD$250 for 1 oz. ) is at the high-end range. However, if you do have money to spare, this is a good anti-aging serum to pamper yourself with luxurious skin care that actually works.

my MIL is a big fan of this brand. it's so lovely on her skin. and trust me, no one would think she's 62. she looks about 40 and i am scared of looking older than her one day!
having said that, i am terrified with serum at the moment because of my poor experience. i will take your words and hers for it though. the price tag is a bit high for me to try it out or use it regularly. *_*
thanks for the review! i love the way you added those pictures too.
I love serums. I prefer them compared to moisturizers. This one sounds great.
