Nars summer 2009 makeup collection is now available on its website. Inspired by the tropics, this collection features sun-kissed bronze hues, peachy pinks and a splash of teal.
Nars Summer 2009 CollectionThe colors in this collection are vibrant and colorful with a happy and carefree spirit. I particularly like the Single Eyeshadow in Tropic and the summery smoky blue eyes makeup on Guinevere van Seenus (face of Nars's ad campaign).
Nars summer 2009 collection includes:
Single Eyeshadow: Tropic (in teal with silver flecks)
Duo Eyeshadow: Scorching Sun (in glazed apricot and radiant orange)
Bronzing Powder: Irresistiblement (in golden terracotta)
Lipstick: Outsider (in shimmering burnish coral) & Falaba (in bronzy rose)
Lip Gloss: Belize (in pink mauve with gold specks)The collection also includes a Lipliner Pencil in Tonga (pink amber) and a Nail Polish in Adelita (shimmering pearlescent pink).

Tropic looks so pretty... Nars ads are so odd yet striking to me. The bright colors against the black-and-white really gives you an impression. I'm surprised it's not golden-inspired like all the other collections.

Yes. I was surprised that Nars summer 2009 collection is not golden and bronze inspired like other makeup collections. I am really glad to see a splash of color instead of predominantly bronze shades for Nars summer '09 collection.
