Chanel's Nail Color in Magnolia Rose is a soft pink shade with tiny glittering particles. The color looks from the bottle and on the nails look are quite consistant. The soft pink shade is very pigmented and more to the pastel side. You are probably asking "How come the composition of shimmering particles doesn't turn the finish more to the pearly-pink side?" Well, that is because the formulation is created to make the shimmer blend within the pinky shade; more in a subdued way of reflecting the glittering colors of silver, green and fuchsia. Thus, the shimmer actually makes the pastel shade more alive. Magnolia Rose nail color is indeed a refined and graceful shade, which is very "Chanel." I am glad I bought the very last bottle from the department store.
