Beauty Anonymous is Up!
It has been 11 days of nightmare for Beauty Anonymous. Bloglinker, a blog link exchange service, was the culprit of all this mess. Google/Blogger.com suspected Bloglinker script was infectious and decided to remove my blog without any notice. Although Bloglinker service was immediately removed from Beauty Anonymous after the suspected malware script was detected, that never stopped Google/Blogger.com from removing my blog. I have been working to resolve this problem with Google/Blogger.com. And, finally it took 11 days for them to find my blog is clean. I am glad that it is all good now.
I'd like to thank everyone who expressed their support and warm regards during this down time. Special thanks to Betsy of Autumn Masquerade for helping me to reach out the readers about the situation. Also, many thanks to PJ of A Touch of Blusher for her support and being informative while resolving the problem with Google/Blogger.com. I hope her blog and other affected beauty blogs will be restored very soon! I'll continue blogging as soon as I finish grasping the whole ordeal.
Again, thank you very much for you patience and support.

Ah good! I missed your blog. I was wondering what had happened when blogger said no such site existed.
What a nightmare! Glad you persistence paid off.
Welcome back! I'd missed reading your blog...
Nina
Hi Charlestongirl,
Thank you very much for your regards! I am glad that the nightmare is finally over. What a relief!

Hi Nina,
Thank you so much for your support and warm regards! Come back often! :) I will keep on updating my blog!
Best wishes,
BA
Glad to hear you're up and running again!!!
Good to see you back! I was confused when both your blog and A Touch of Blusher's blog went down around the same time...glad the problem has been resolved! :D
By the way, have you used Beaute de Kose powder foundations before? If so, what are your thoughts? Another question I have is...what do you think of the hype around BB creams? :) Looking forward to hearing your opinions on these!
Hi Saintangelius,
Thank you so much for your support and love! I miss all of you! I am so glad that my blog has been restored. Do stay tuned while I work to update my blog!
Best,
BA
Hi Beautyjudy,

Dear Winnie,
Thank you so much for your warm words! I am really glad that the technical problems have been resolved. I hope that we will see A Touch of Blusher blog back up very soon.
BEAUTÉ de KOSÉ's Esprique Precious has been one of the Japanese brands that I have been meaning to try their base makeup products. I am very sorry that I am not able to offer much of my experiences with this brand's foundations. I have only tried a sample pack of BEAUTÉ de KOSÉ / Esprique Precious's Beauty Skin Pact Moisture EX (SPF15 PA++).
It is a revamped powder foundation released in fall 2008. I am impressed with it. I have normal/dry skin. The powder adheres to the skin well, and covers the pores, redness and freckles nicely. It doesn't dry out my skin, and doesn't turn cakey or dull throughout the day. The lasting power and oil control ability are decent.
Unfortunately, Beauty Skin Pact Moisture EX seems to be discontinued, and is replaced by Dramatical Veil Pact Moisture.
Which powder foundation(s) by BEAUTÉ de KOSÉ's Esprique Precious are you interested in trying? EP just released its fall/winter '09 base makeup collection on August 21st. I am still having a debate with myself if I should buy its new powder foundation, Dramatical Veil Pact Moisture.
I know BB cream has been very popular in Asia in the past few years. I wish I could share with you more about it. It is such a shame that I haven't got to try one. I will try it after I do more research on products and brands. I will keep you posted! :)
Have you used any BB cream? I would love to hear your thoughts on it.
Again, thank you so much for stopping by and leaving the sweet words!
Have a great weekend!
Best,
BA
Hi BA,
Wow thanks for the detailed response! I'm not familiar with Beaute de Kose's products at all...but I've heard many good things about, especially how it's supposed to be good for acne-prone skin.
The only product I've tried is the Ultimation True Satin UV Powder Makeup. It's a slightly fragranced, moist powder foundation. Unfortunately since it was a gift, the color match was not very suitable for me so I rarely use it.
As for BB creams, I haven't tried any because I have mixed feelings about it. On one hand I don't think it provides enough coverage, on the other I'm tempted to see if it will help improve my skin (especially the ones from BRTC brand). From what I heard from my friend, it's just like a tinted moisturizer.
:)
Hi BA! Unfortunately it looks like it's my turn to be erased from Google. :( My blogspot.com blog also got removed, and I can't even log into my gmail account. Did you have problems logging into your gmail account when you had this problem?
I think my problem is completely different as the diagnostic tool did not find my website to be suspicious. :( Thanks for your prompt response. I'm really close to driving over to the Google campus and making a scene at their lobby. At least I have the advantage of working within driving distance of Google! :(
Dear Winnie,
I am so sorry to hear that your blog was removed from Google/Blogger.
I didn't have problems logging into my gmail account when my blog was removed from Google/Blogger.
But when I tried to go to my blog, Blogger said "Blog not found - Sorry, the blog you were looking for does not exist. However, the name Beautyanonymous is available to register!" Do you also see this when you try to go to your blog?
I am not sure if you have tried Google Safe Browsing Diagnoistic Page.
http://www.google.com/safebrowsing/diagnostic?site=XXXXX.blogspot.com (just type in the name of your blog at the end)
The diagnoistic page could give you an idea of what has caused the problem.
At this stage, do request a review of your site using Google Webmaster Tools, which is at the very bottom of the diagnoistic page. Google will figure out the problems and manages to clean and restore your blog.
Also, if you found out it is a malware issue with your blog, the Google team now would like the owners of the affected blogs caused by malware issues report the URLs of blogs here.

Best,
BA
