Update: Lavshuca Summer 2009 Lip Gloss
Lavshuca Lip GlossLavshuca's website has been updated with its new Lip Gloss range. Available in 8 shades, Lip Gloss is fragrance free, and is formulated with sweet almond oil to provide a moisturizing effect. According to the description on its website, it is light-pigmented and features fine shimmer for a clear, shiny finish.

Hi, I had not heard of Lavshuca before. Is Lavshuca Kanebo's answer to Shiseido's Majolica Majorca?

Lavshuca was launched in spring 2006. I would say yes. Lavshuca is one of Kanebo's competitors to Shiseido's Majolica Majorca.
Both are drugstore brands, and target young consumers. While Majorlica Majorca targets consumers in their late teens/early 20s, Lavshuca targets a consumer group of 20-30 years-old.
Lavshuca has a princessy and romantic take on its packaging designs, while Majorlica Majorca's packaging is rather dreamy and quirky. But I think the overall makeup colors from both brands are girly and wearable. :)

Funny ... I was in Japan last winter, and I saw several of Kanebo's drugstore lines, but I don't remember seeing Lavshuca.
