YSL Summer 2009 Makeup Collection
YSL summer 2009 makeup collection is now available on its US website. The collection was inspired by the vivid hues of Africa, and offers a range of vibrant and sunny colors.
The summer 2009 look by YSL focuses on intense turquoise-toned eye makeup and luminous golden bronze cheek colors, which are complemented by lightly-colored lips.
The collection includes:
Trésor d'Afrique 5 Colour Collector Palette for the Eyes (limited-edition)
Water Resistant Cream Eye Shadow: 4 shades
Everlong Waterproof Lengthening Mascara: #5 Ever Peacock Blue (limited-edition)
Trésor d'Afrique 5 Colour Collector Palette for the Lips: contains 3 lipstick shades and 2 lip gloss shades (limited-edition)
Rouge Pure Shine Sheer Lipstick SPF15: 2 shades
Trésor d'Afrique Collector Sun Powder: (limited-edition)
Poudre de Soleil Bronzing Powder: #4 Iridescent Sun
Touche Éclat Radiant Touch: #3 Light PeachThe collection will be launched in Japan on May 1st, and will hit the shelves in the US in early May.

GEL EYESHADOWS! that looks like the ones as in the Line of Jill Stuart. I cannot wait to swatch them in real life, especially the mauvy one
Wow, I am defintely drooling over both palettes. Can't wait.
i just swapped away all my cream shadow... sigh... i am always attracted to them but never really seem to use them. now i look at these YSL ones, they are equally tempting too! but i know myself better than getting them...
the e/s palettes aren't my cup of tea though. but that YSL Rouge Pure Shine #32 is!

It is great to know that YSL has come up with their Summer 2009 look. I particularly loved the lip colors and the eye shadow colors. :-)
Argh... why do they only have SPF15 lipsticks?? I'm usually allergic but I want those two shades so bad! Especially #32. It looks totally amazing.

I know. The Water Resistant Cream Eye Shadows have grabbed my attention. They look pretty. I am especially interested in the grey shade. Definitely would like to try them out at the YSL counter.
I hope this collection will soon be available in Malaysia. For YSL, what two seasonal makeup collections are usually available in Malaysia? Spring and Fall?

YSL 2011 summers collection is all about the yellow and blue colors! It makes me think about the sun and sea. They always have great collections.
