Preview: Paul & Joe Summer 2009 Makeup Collection

Here is a brief preview of Paul & Joe summer 2009 makeup collection that is scheduled to be released in May. It really surprised me to see the news of Paul & Joe's upcoming summer collection at this point of time.

What surprised me more is that one of my favorite actresses and beauty icons, Catherine Deneuve, becomes the inspiration of Paul & Joe's summer 2009 collection. The collection is gold-themed, and offers a range of colors to translate the two different looks inspired by Catherine Deneuve; innocent sweet look and enchanting, glamorous look.

The eyeshadows, lip glosses and nail polishes in this collection feature gold lids or gold caps, which are different than the current ones in pink packaging. It is also worth noting that the forthcoming Nail Enamel S limited editions have tiered colors. The nail polishes are supposed to be shaken and mixed well before applying on the nails.
