Zara Launches US Online Shopping

The Spanish fashion retailer Zara has launched online shopping with free standard delivery throughout the U.S. starting last month. I have been waiting for the longest time for its e-commerce launch. It will make my life easier that I no longer have to drive to the nearest Zara store 20 miles away where parking is hard to find.

Inspired by bronzite, black tourmaline, gold pyrite and lilac lepidolite, MAC's latest Mineralize collection, Semi Precious Collection, is already hitting the shelves. Other than new Mineralize Eyeshadows, Mineralize Skinfinishes and Mineralize Blushes, the collection also comes with lip colors, mineralize skincare products and new limited-edition brushes.

I have long been a fan of MAC's Mineralize collections, especially the colorful swirled eyeshadows. There are 12 Mineralize Eye Shadows in this new collection, and all the colors look amazingly beautiful in warm and cool tones.

I am particularly eyeing on Blue Sheen (Navy, Black & Peach) and Hint of Sapphire (Pink, Violet, Teal, Copper & Blue). They seem like a good match for my Mineralize Eye Shadow Duo in Polar Opposite from MAC summer 2008 Electro Flash Collection.

If you are a fan of radiant, shimmery makeup, you should not miss the luminous shimmers and rich metallics of Chanel's fall 2011 makeup collection. This collection features an array of vibrant shades from silver, gold, bronze to purple, plum, khaki, beige and green in different textures.

The only new item in this collection is called Illusion D’Ombre Long Wear Luminous Eyeshadow ($36), which is an intensely shimmering eyeshadow with a silicone gel formula. According to the Chanel website, the texture is soft and cushiony.

It is official! H&M's fall 2011 designer collaboration will be with Italian fashion house Versace. Inspired by the heritage of the legendary brand, this collection will feature clothing, shoes, jewelry and accessories for men and women, as well as home pieces that include pillows and a bedspread.

The collection will be launched on November 19th in select stores in the US. Check Style File blog to see a few pieces from this collection.

One of the major reasons I am obsessed with Japanese cosmetics is that Japanese cosmetics brands always deliver very clean, fresh and feminine makeup looks. I was browsing Coffret D'Or's website the other day, and was impressed with the campaign images of its summer 2011 makeup collection. The images look vibrant and summery! I love all the 5 styles of makeup looks presented by Risa Hirako, Tommy, Akemi, Waka Nozawa and Yumi Sakurai.

Tom Ford's first-ever cosmetics collection, Private Blend Lip Color Collection, debuted last year has been very well received. I bought its Private Blend Lip Color in Pink Dusk (mid-tone dusty nude pink), and it has been among my favorite lippies. I adore its sleek, architectural, yet classy ivory and gold case. The neutral pink shade without any shimmer is phenomenally lovely. Not to mention how the velvety moisturizing texture feels to the touch.

I was thrilled to learn that Tom Ford will release its full makeup collection in this September. The collection will include more than 130 items from foundations, eye pencils, lipsticks, lip glosses, serums, creams to perfumes, and will be sold at Tom Ford stores, Nieman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman and Saks Fifth Avenue stores.

This upcoming makeup line looks beautiful in the campaign image. I can't wait for more follow- up information on this collection.

Eprise is one of the two point makeup lines under Albion. I have none of Albion's makeup products, but have been tempted by its simple, understated and cute packaging style.

Cheek Blossom from Eprise's summer 2011 makeup collection caught my eye with its lovely range of colors in pink and orange tones. I love its cute packaging, but not over-the-top cuteness. The colors of these blushers look very fresh and summery!

Prestige Liquid Eyeliner in LE01 Black

A couple years ago, I found Prestige Liquid Eyeliner (4.75 - 5.75 USD) at a nearby CVS store. I was very intrigued by its small and lightweight packaging. The shade I bought is a jet ink black with a satin matte finish.

This liquid eyeliner's packaging is slim and lightweight. So it is easy to store in my vanity drawers or cosmetic bag.

Prestige Liquid Eyeliner in LE01 Black

It comes with a sponge tip that feels soft to the touch. The sponge tip gives a precise, thin line along the lash line, and fills in the gaps between the lashes nicely.

Though it is not waterproof, it withstands sebum decently well, and stays on all day. But I wouldn't wear it on rainy days as it can be easily removed with just water.

I like to use a dark brown eyeliner pencil or dark eyeshadow in powder texture to blend it over the liquid eyeliner. I think it just makes it look more natural and subtle.

I haven't used that many liquid eyeliners to make a good comparison here. However, I found this liquid eyeliner quite useful and affordable. It is definitely one of my great drugstore finds.

Givenchy has been very innovative in creating cutting edge mascaras in recent years. In fall 2008, the launch of Phenomen'Eyes Mascara that features a mini spherical brush, has turned into a great success. For fall 2011, Givenchy will release Démesure Audacious Lashes, which is created with an extensive brush and a finishing tool with a hyaluronic acid-based formula that is supposed to add volume without weighing down the tips.

It is a shame that I haven't got a chance to try Phenomen'Eyes Mascara yet. I am looking forward to try both of them and see how they work.

I have Sugar Lip Treatment SPF 15 and Sugar Rosé Tinted Lip Treatment SPF 15. I enjoy their natural and comforting lemony fragrance, and absolutely love how they moisturize and nourish my lips throughout the seasons.

$22.50 for a 0.15 oz tube of lip balm is not cheap. I always keep this lip balm from being over-applied and wasted.

Since I am a nude lippie lover, Sugar Honey will be a lovely addiction to my Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment stash.

Givenchy Le Prisme Yeux Mono Eyeshadow in #14 Elegant Taupe

Released from Givenchy's spring 2010 makeup collection, Le Prisme Yuex Mono Eyeshadow is a series of 16 monochromatic eyeshadow palettes. Each palette is available in matte, iridescent, pearlescent and sparkle finishes.

This eyeshadow line caught my attention immediately when I first saw it on the internet. I fell for its brilliant idea of playing a same color with 4 different finishes all in one palette.

As taupe is one of of my favorite eyeshadow colors, I decided to buy 14 Elegant Taupe. These monochromatic taupes show up slightly more cool-toned on my skin. They are light-to-medium pigmented, which can be slowly built up the intensity to add depth and dimension to the eyes.

Givenchy Le Prisme Yeux Mono Eyeshadow in #14 Elegant Taupe

The shimmers are so subtle that are hard to notice the differences. The texture is silky smooth. It is easy to swirl powder from the four quadrants together to create a subtle shimmery finish.

The downside is that its lasting power is weaker than what I expected. Le Prisme Yeux Mono Eyeshadow tends to crease by mid-day.

Givenchy Le Prisme Yeux Mono Eyeshadow in #14 Elegant Taupe

Packaging-wise, the compact with a mirror and a small applicator is travel-friendly and sturdy. The good thing is that it is very convenient to tote into my cosmetics bag. On the other hand, since the packaging is relatively small, I dropped it several times when I tried to open up. Besides, it is hard to get the little eyeshadow applicator out as the compartment is tiny.

To sum up, I like the wearability and versatility of Givenchy Le Prisme Yeux Mono Eyeshadow in 14 Elegant Taupe. Compared to other name brand eyeshadows I have used, it tends to crease and slightly fade during the day if I don't apply an eyeshadow primer beforehand.

The shimmers and the pigments are subtle and understated, it is easy to finish a work-appropriate or casual eyes look with these taupes and a dark-toned eyeliner.

I have been longing for Untitled by Maison Martin Margiela since it was launched in spring last year. The most exciting and wait-worthy part is not only it is the first fragrance in the history of Belgian fashion house, it is also a unique unisex perfume in terms of composition, packaging and commercial campaign.

Untitled was created to be fresh, universal yet avant garde. The fragrance interprets green aromas after rain, and features green accords with floral and woody-musky notes.

I love its apothecary style of clear and white bottle with letters of " (untitled) Maison Martin Margiela" in typewriter font. The bottle is woven with cotton thread around the neck with a thread over the stopper. That's it! Simple and clean!

While I just learned that Untitled has finally hit the store at Saks (exclusively for a year) starting this month, the fashion house has released a lighter and fresher edition called Untitled L'Eau, which emphasizes more on citrusy notes.

I am thrilled to hear the launch of Untitled L'Eau. I hope it won't keep me from waiting too long this time!

I know many of you, like me, are loyal fans of Chloé's classic signature Chloé Eau de Parfum. I was over the moon when I found out the fashion house recently released a limited-edition of Chloé Eau de Parfum called Rosebud for the spring season.

Rosebud features the original bottle packaging with a bright pink ribbon. According to the customer reviews on Sephora website, it is fresher and more lightly floral compared to the original version.

Notes of Chloé Rosebud include pink peony, freesia, lychee, magnolia flower, lily of the valley, rose, cedar wood, amber and honey.

I just can't wait to try out this fragrance. Let me know how you feel about Rosebud if you got a chance to try it!

I am so excited to hear the news that one of my favorite skincare brands, Aesop, will be opening their first store in Nolita, NYC this summer. After that, a kiosk will be opened in the Grand Central in July and a second shop in West Village before Christmas.

I always love their understated apothecary style of packaging, botanical-based ingredients and lovely natural scents. Even though the forthcoming Aesop stores in NYC are still far away from where I live, I am glad that I could get to feel their products again when I visit the Big Apple next time. I truly hope more nationwide stores are in part of the brand's rollout plan.

Douceur, in French it means sweetness and softness, is the name of one of the beautiful Nars blushes! As a matter of fact, douceur is the perfect word to describe this soft dusty brown-pink blush.

It was first released as a limited-edition item from Nars fall 2010 makeup collection. It has quickly gained positive reviews and has become very popular. It's now part of Nars' permanent lineup.

I like my Nars Blush in Orgasm, which is a nice peachy pink with subtle shimmer. I love the pigmentation, color payoff and how it brings out the healthy-looking skin with a flush of color when my face is more tanned in the summer.

However, as my face returns to fair skin tone in winter, I need a cheek color that is light-pigmented and more soft-toned. Douceur is the shade that meets the requirements.

Nars Blush in Douceur is sheer-pigmented, and the color can be slowly built up to light-to-medium intensity for my fair skin tone. It gives a muted, matte and dusty finish with soft brown pink hues, which doesn't look overly pink, too cool or too warm on my cheeks.

One of the reasons that I love about this blush is the versatility of this shade. For people with pale to light skin tones, it is definitely a year-round shade for nearly all occasions when you need to tone down for a natural day look or to build up for a dramatic night look.

Jurlique Love Balm

I have been using Jurlique's Love Balm everyday since this winter. In the beginning, I wanted to try a lip balm that is natural and organic-based without any artificial fragrances. Love Blam caught my attention for its all natural ingredients and citrusy scent.

Love Balm is a multi-use product for anywhere from head to toe. I only use the Love Balm on my lips as I prefer to use separate skincare items for the body.

Jurlique Love Balm

The yellow-colored balm smells like a fresh and crisp tangerine. It is pretty stiff and solid in the tin, but melts right away on skin. It goes on so light and thin that it absorbs very quickly. For people who hate greasy lip balm, I can tell you that Jurlique Love Balm does not feel sticky or waxy at all. The only drawback is it wears off slightly more easily than my other lip balms.

I like to slather a generous amount of it before going to bed, which leaves my lips soft, moisturized and nicely healed the next morning.

Overall, I am very pleased with Jurlique Lip Balm, and I hope to get my hands on its sister version, Rose Love Balm, whenever it is available on Jurlique's US website.

Released in September 2010, Sensai Cellular Performance (CP) Lifting Radiance Concentrate and Lifting Radiance 3D Mask (6 sachets for $165) is the latest anti-aging facial mask product from Kanebo Sensai's CP Lifting Series.

The product caught my attention for its contour-lifting ability and close-fitting sheet mask design. I was particularly intrigued by the latter feature because I hate to use sheet masks that do not fit properly or need to adjust the fit constantly during mask time.

Lifting Radiance and 3D Mask targets the signs of sagging and dullness on face. It is formulated with facial muscle-empowering Natural Musculifter to work in synergy with Golden Chamomile Extract to increase micro-circulation at the skin's surface and within the facial muscles for lifted, luminous and radiant skin.

Packaging wise, the mask completely enfolds from the face to neck. Each mask has about one full bottle of Lifting Radiance Concentrate (35ml).

It has a light floral scent with a soothing sensation. There is absolutely no dripping with this mask. It fits the face and neck nicely. It leaves the skin lifted and firmer with freshness and luminous. I love the fact that it significantly minimizes my laugh lines around the mouth, and provides excellent moisturization.

If you are looking for a lifting sheet mask, Kanebo Sensai Lifting Radiance and 3D Mask is absolutely worth trying.

In the past summer, I had travels from coast to coast, and in many of those events were filled with drinking and late night partying. Too many drinks plus not enough sleep have given me dryness and fine lines on the eyes. The eye creams I had didn't help much with these temporary "issues". When I was worried and panic, I had the opportunity to try the latest eye cream from La Mer that was released in October 2010, called The Eye Balm Intense.

The Eye Balm Intense aims for diminishing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, reducing puffiness and promoting firmness and clarity of the eye area. It is formulated with La Mer's The Miracle Broth™, Marine De-puff Ferment™ and Lifting Ferment™. The Eye Balm Intense is a triple concentration of The Miracle Broth, which includes Original Miracle Broth, concentrated Miracle Broth and Encapsulated Miracle Broth, to help repair the skin.

Just like other skincare products from La Mer, this eye cream features La Mer's signature marine scent, which always smells clean and refreshing to me.

It is in light green color, and is lightweight, soft and smooth to the touch. It applies easily and absorbs quickly without any greasy trace or sticky feel. Just shortly after the eye cream is applied, the eyes are slightly lifted up and brightened up.

After one month, I am happy that it has lessened my fine lines and the appearance of puffy bags under my eyes. The skin around the eyes appears firmer, brighter and younger. Most of all, it provides long-lasting moisturization.

It is worth noting that The Eye Balm Intense features a silver-tipped applicator, which helps stimulate micro-circulation for de-puffing. The applicator is especially designed to pick up the precise amount of eye cream for each application.

Summary

I have been falling in love with La Mer The Eye Balm Intense since the first day I tried. The clean marine aroma of this eye cream is divine, and the amazingly silky light texture is just phenomenal. It certainly has minimized the fine lines and puffiness around my eyes. It also has noticeably lifted and firmed the skin with a sense of clarity as well as brightness. I can see myself continue to use The Eye Balm Intense!

The Triple Touch Compact($55) is a treatment-formulated concealer trio released by Kanebo Sensai in Fall 2010. (Kanebo Sensai is a luxury skincare and makeup line from Kanebo International.)

It is available in 3 variations from Light, Medium to Dark. Out of the three, I had the opportunity to try the Medium shade.

The concealer compact has two-tiered packaging. The top tier features a translucent concealer and a crème concealer. There is a built-in mirror under the top tier. The lower tier features a finishing pressed powder, which comes with a puff. The minimal packaging is sleek and sophisticated.

Though my skin tone is light/fair, I usually go for medium-toned concealers to cover my under eye circles, pimples, acne scars, and dark circles under my eyes. The crème concealer from The Triple Touch Compact in Medium shows up a little too bright for my acne and pimple scars. But it camouflages my pores, small blemishes and under eye circles well.

The colorless concealer works great as a primer to fill in pores, fine lines and wrinkles. Also, it provides moisturization to the skin. In short, it helps the crème concealer to create a smooth finish. I like that the crème concealer evens out discoloration and imperfections nicely. Both are in very soft and smooth consistency, and blend in seamlessly. Applied together, they impart an even, smooth finish.

Among the three items from the compact, the pressed powder is my favorite one. The pressed powder is full-pigmented. The powder is silky smooth, and applies easily. It sets the concealer flawlessly without being cakey or drying out the skin.

The finish stays put throughout the day. It doesn't migrate into fine lines and wrinkles.

Summary
The only drawback for The Triple Touch Compact is the limited color selection as it is only available in 3 shades currently. I am hoping it will come up with more shades soon. Overall, the translucent concealer, crème concealer and finishing powder provide excellent hydration formulations and a long lasting flawless coverage.

If you are looking for a concealer compact, Kanebo Sensai The Triple Touch Compact housed with two concealers and one pressed powder is worth checking out.

The product is a little bigger than most of the irons I have used before. In the beginning, it did take a little more time to practice what angle to hold the iron to style hair.

It works wonderfully on my wispy hair. From my experiences, it gets the best results by ironing the hair in small, thin sections. It doesn't work well with big hair strands.

The iron straightens the hair in minutes. It is fast and easy to lift up the roots and create defined curls with InStyler. It leaves my hair full of volume, sleek and silky. I love the fact that it is easy and effective!

Olay Total Effects Moisturizer Plus Cooling Hydration is one of the various day and night moisturizers from Olay's Total Effects series. It targets 7 signs of aging: fine lines, wrinkles, rough texture, uneven skin tone, surface dullness, appearance of prominent pores, age spots and dryness. What makes Total Effects Moisturizer Plus Cooling Hydration different from the other Total Effects moisturizers is that it is formulated with a cooling effect. The moisturizer is oil-free, non-comedogenic, and is scented with a light floral note.

The consistency of this moisturizer is light creamy, soft and smooth, but not too thin or too lightweight. It does give an instant quick cooling sensation on the face and leaves the skin well-moisturized without being greasy and sticky for my normal-to-dry skin. Most of all, it provides effective and long-lasting moisturization.

I have been using it for over a month. It has enhanced the skin resilience, and made the face appear slightly firmer and more defined. The moisturizer helps minimize the fine lines and wrinkles, but not drastically.

Since the texture is not exceptionally sheer or lightweight, Olay Total Effects Moisturizer Plus Cooling Hydration can be a little heavy for severe oily skin in hot and humid weather like the past summer. Overall, I think this moisturizer works great for dry skin, normal-to-dry skin, normal skin and combination skin all-year-round.

Ever since I tried Tom Ford Private Blend Lip Color in Pink Dusk, I have been obsessed with this lipstick line for its premium quality and beautiful packaging. I have refrained myself from buying more Tom ford lipsticks because of its hefty price tag, but I can't help hoping to see more beauty lines by Tom Ford! I am glad that he doesn't keep us waiting too long.

According to The Beauty Alchemist, Tom Ford will release limited-edition Black Orchid Collection (USD$140) in Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue and Bergdorf Goodman stores in October. This collection includes Private Blend Lip Color in Black Orchid, Pressed Eau de Perfume Black Orchid and Nail Color in Black Orchid.

You may check out the close-up and swatch of Tom Ford Nail Color in Black Orchid on famed nail artist Sophy Robson's blog. It is a gorgeous vampy brownish red shade I like to wear in fall and winter!

This summer was insanely hot and humid. Weather like this usually drenches my skin in oil and causes breakouts. For the longest time, I could not find a good solution for my combination skin, oily on the T-zone and dry on the cheeks. My normal routine is to clean with Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cleanser and then apply Kiehl's Blue Astringent Herbal Lotion, followed by Clean & Clear Soft Oil-free Moisturizer series. This combination has inconsistent results depending on the weather, and it definitely was not working for me in this summer.

Luckily, I was given the opportunity to try Origins "Zero Oil Deep Pore Cleanser with Saw Palmetto and Mint" and "Oil-free Lotion with Saw Palmetto & Mint." I absolutely enjoy using them and they are the saviors for me to fight off this blazing hot summer.

Origins Zero Oil Deep Pore Cleanser is lightly scented with mint and lathers easily. It is a little too liquidy than what I am used to, but it's not a big deal.

I have never heard of Saw Palmetto prior to this, but apparently, its extracts have been widely used by native Americans as medicine. It is part of the "skin-clearing" formula in this cleanser.

The cleanser gives an pleasant refreshing and cooling effect. Most importantly, I don't feel the dryness or tightness on my skin afterward. Pairing with the Zero Oil-free Lotion with Saw Palmetto and Mint, it gives shine free and breakout free skin.

If the weather gets too dry, a sheer layer of this lotion may not provide sufficient moisturization. However, Origins "Zero Oil Deep Pore Cleanser with Saw Palmetto and Mint" and "Oil-free Lotion with Saw Palmetto & Mint" are by far the best solution for me in hot and humid weather.

I just came back from a desert vacation in the dead heat of summer. Before this, I have never been to a desert, nor have any experience suffering the immensely dry and hot desert weather all day long. Needless to say, the only nice chilled areas were indoor places with powerful AC on.

All I needed in my vanity bag were something that could resist water, sweat and sebum well to keep a fresh look from day and night. Some of the stuff I brought failed to beat the heat, but I am proud that some items did hold up well in the desert weather. I thought I could share with you.

Tom Ford Private Blend Lip Color in Pink Dusk

You probably noticed I am not the biggest fan of Tom Ford's marketing strategy. But this summer, Tom Ford's Private Blend Lip Color has become my favorite lipstick. For the last month, I have been using this lipstick, and I have to declare this lipstick as one of the best I have tried. The sleek retro-style packaging, silky smooth texture and amazing color pay-off also make it a winner.

Tom Ford Private Blend Lip Color in Pink Dusk

Private Blend Lip Color comes in 12 shades from nudes, pinks, corals, reds, plums to browns. I was thinking of getting Vanilla Suede that is a pale beige nude. But since I have Shiseido's Perfect Rouge in BE109 Spiced Cream (also pale nude-based), I decided to look for something with a bit more color instead.

This lipstick has a hint of vanilla scent. It is a mid-tone dusty nude pink without shimmer. The color is slightly on the warmer side. I think it is a universally flattering shade for a wide range of skin tones.

Private Blend Lip Color has a creamy smooth consistency. It glides on smoothly, and blends easily.

It is richly pigmented, and shows its true color on my lips. The finish is satin matte with a soft, moist feel. The color has a fairly good staying power.

What also makes Private Blend Lip Color stand out is its rectangular ivory and gold packaging. The white and gold combination is rare and unique in the market. The packaging design has a structural vibe, and looks just clean and exquisite from every angle.

I have been keeping my eye on other shades in the lineup like True Coral and Blush Nude. As Private Blend Lip Color is priced at USD$45 each, I have been limiting myself to just having Pink Dusk for now. However, I am absolutely looking forward to more makeup products by Tom Ford in the future.

I have been very interested in trying more Paul & Joe's base makeup items after the good experiences with Paul & Joe Moisturizing Foundation Primer in #03 Creme.

Creamy Powder Compact Foundation (SPF15 PA+) in #10 Ivory and Protective Powder Compact Foundation (SPF 20 PA++) in #30 Clear are the recent new additions to my Paul & Joe base makeup stash.

Paul & Joe Protective Powder Compact Foundation

In March 2010, Paul & Joe revamped Protective Dual Powder Foundation to release Protective Powder Compact Foundation. The upgraded version is designed to have a better adherence, oil control ability and lasting power.

It features Paul & Joe's signature Secret D’or, which is a champagne gold frost with "nine color gold shimmer" in various tones from white, pink, yellow, blue, green, silver, gold, red and purple.

Paul & Joe Protective Powder Compact Foundation in #30 Clear

Color
Protective Powder Compact Foundation with SPF20 PA++ is available in 8 shades in the US. In Asian markets, it comes in only 6 shades, and contains SPF22 PA++, however. Of all the options, I chose #30 Clear that has a light beige ocher shade. #30 Clear looks darker in the compact than what it shows on my face. The color matches my slightly tanned skin in the summer.

Coverage
Unlike most of Paul & Joe's base makeup products that are known for their sheer, luminous finishes and light, moisturizing feels, Protective Powder Compact Foundation is matte with a full coverage. It is build-able, and covers the pores, redness, pimples and other blemishes very well.

Application
It can be used wet or dry. The powder goes on light, smooth, and adheres to the skin very nicely.

Paul & Joe Protective Powder Compact Foundation in #30 Clear

Finish
When applied dry, it gives a powdery matte finish, but not cakey or lumpy. When applied wet, the foundation adheres more closely to the skin, blends more easily, and covers the imperfections more effectively, which really gives a more natural, satin matte finish. It starts to impart a soft matte finish with a luminosity after an hour. Throughout the day, it does not turn dark or dull, and controls sebum and sweat nicely.

Summary
I prefer to use it wet than dry. It tends to give a more powdery matte finish when applied dry. On the other hand, it looks softer and more natural when applied wet. The strength of this powder foundation is its good oil control ability. The color doesn't turn dull, yet remains luminously matte and fresh over time. Overall, I think Paul & Joe Protective Powder Compact Foundation is a good choice for hot, humid weather.

Highlighting his favorite things, François named objects found on Motu Tane, his very own Tahitian island and a great source of inspiration behind many of the products he creates for NARS. See below for a quick guide to the brains behind the beauty at NARS.

Flower: a gardenia that grows on Motu Tane; also the inspiration behind NARS Monoï Body Glow II. François has over 70 bushes in his garden.

Coconut: “I could just eat Coconut and be the happiest man in the world,” says François, who eats it daily while on Motu Tane. Coconut lover, also? Its extract is used in NARS Body Glow (the shimmering counterpart to NARS Monoï Body Glow II-both have the same scent).

Chawanmushi: a Japanese steamed-egg custard dish. François is “mad about Japanese food.” However food isn’t the only object of Japan close to François’ heart. Check out his Japanese-inspired NARS Kabuki Brushes
